bullet Draft Punk

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

Surely the most anticipated soundtrack album of the year is likely to be Daft Punk’s work for Disney’s ‘Tron Legacy’. This is bound to be something that the influential Parisians themselves are going to be stoked about as one of the key influences on any electronic musician, Walter/Wendy Carlos (Clockwork Orange, The Shining) , composed the score for the original 1982 film.

Since the rumours were found to be true last year several fake versions of Daft Punk songs have appeared sporadically over the internet but you can hear some of the original music in the latest trailer below. The film is released in December and looks pretty cool to us.

The albums don’t need to be old to be featured they just need to be quality albums. Now for the fun stuff. We want to get you people talking music – so tell us some classics that you think should be played in the shop. You can choose from any genre of music. Try stir it up at bit by having a classic that not everyone will agree with. We all know ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ by Pink Floyd, why not 2 Many DJs?  I hope you’re getting the picture. So get your thinking caps on people and give us your classic albums and reasons why…
